Copywriting Hall of Fame or Shame?

(click ad, via) I've previously seen this ad on a phone kiosk on the Upper West Side, but didn't have a camera on me. This was snapped in Halethorpe, Maryland. Yay or Nay? I will say I bet the penman/woman of this IN YOUR FACE line is as proud as an asshole peacock. Previously in: The Copywriting Hall of Fame.

I hear there are also ads for Doritos in your part of the country with the line "slap your tongue in its mouth."

it's simple, it's surprising it hasn't been used already (that i know of) and it's also very effective. a stupid simple ad everyone secretly wishes they had done...

yes. copy? great. art direction? epic fail.

copy is so good it makes up for it, but missed opportunity on the art direction.

In 'Play It Again, Sam' Woody Allen gets roughed up by some bikers but reassures his friends:

"I'm fine. I snapped my chin down onto some guy's fist and hit another one in the knee with my nose."

Possible inspiration...?

Hall of Shame. I hate the copy *and* the art direction!

Put it this way, it wouldn't make me buy it - so it fails.

I'm thinking the target is men 21-34 so this copy works well, with that in mind... Maybe it's a bit too 'man speak' but its different and interesting enough for me to read over again.
