Haha, maybe less than flattering, but very true. I understand paying respects to a man/woman, no matter who they are or what they've done, but the amount of attention diverted to something like Steve Jobs' death is extremely unnecessary.

It's true. As much as Apple products have changed all of our lives, it was a little hard for me to keep a straight face with the funereal atmosphere and stunned "I'm not sure if I can go on" faces in the agency the day Jobs died.

I believe it was Stalin who said "One death is a tragedy, but a million deaths is a statistic," and that sure applied there. Poor people overseas have nothing to do with our lives, but Steve Jobs helped make cool consumer electronics!
